Location: Big Bear Lake, California. The DE is the one included on the 2-disc. I will explain. The new bonus track of "Chicago" is identical to the Definitive Edition version until the word Album). Peter Hammill's phrasing of the word "obscenities" is different and the rest of his vocals have been replaced by Terre Roche's.
Here is the irony: From the word "obscenities" on, LP, Peter Hammill's vocal from original version which is on disc one and the Definitive Edition version were from the same take. What this means is that all of the pieces of the definitive Edition version are on this collection, they are just not on the same track. Location: Central PA. Wake me when they do it as a box set.

Exposure on cd so confusing that I almost wish I didn't like this album as much as I do. Let's see When I bought the original cd way back when, the first thing I noticed was that some vocal takes were not the same as on the LP, and the overall mix was also different and also some instrumentation I think Cd 1 on the remaster is called First Edition and is supposedly a remastered edition of the LP release.
I haven't listened to the LP in years, but from memory this seems to Album) true. With Eno, Fripp had developed a radically new approach to guitar music, a live-plus-tape-loop technique dubbed Frippertronics. Wholly unlike the guitar sounds he had brought forth with King Crimson, his hypnotic new style expanded his already wide musical palette. But Fripp could make guitar skronk with the best of them; some of his noisier works presage the kind Album) no-wave sounds that would eventually become associated with bands like Sonic Youth from whom a significant debt is owed to Fripp.
And when Fripp decided — somewhat reluctantly — to compile his debut solo album, he managed to combine all of his interests and approaches onto a dazzlingly eclectic and arresting record. As Fripp — who in doing so would display both his forthright nature and inscrutability at once — would explain in the inner-sleeve liner notes of Exposurethe album grew out of an aborted larger project my comments in brackets :.
With the non-release of Sacred Songs and the delay by dinosaurs of this album it is impossible to convey the sense which I had intended.
Instead, Fripp goes on to explain how Exposure would now be the first entry in a newer trilogy, with the other two eventual works to be Frippertronics and Discotronics. The aforementioned trilogy would come to be described by its creator as The Drive to Someone coughs, rises from a chair and walks across the stereo spectrum Album) to right to answer it.
After a few seconds, a second guitar — sounding much like the first — joins in higher fidelity and much louder. The song is structured vaguely like standard I-IV-V early rock, but with enough off-kilter detours to twist it out of classic form, nearly beyond recognition. The decidedly NSFW lyrics-as-such are a found-sound argument between a father, mother and daughter. The're my songs! And I went out and bought Sacred Songs which I have always liked.
I think I'll pick one up just to hear it. BTW, I think Exposure is a masterpiece and have listened to this through the years constantly. I think it represents Fripps greatest period where, free from the confines of King Crimson, he did some wonderful stuff with Eno Green World, Evening Star and Bowie Heroes as well as his solo releases.

Exposure was mighty important for us Crimheads when it came out Fripp may be dismissive of fans as suggested, but he does issue a ton of catalog I'd be kinda surprised if Exposure didn't show up again, maybe even in its original intended form Location: Canada.
